Yesterday I was out at Nick's Cove at the boat launch and saw the Yellow-billed Loon.  I watched the bird from about 1:30PM until 2:30PM.  At one point the bird was only twenty feet away.  There were a number of Common Loons and Red-throated Loons as well. It was a beautiful day and the Yellow-billed Loon was a Lifer for me after 20 years of birding.
