    I had a really good look at a summer tanager in the Berkeley Hills today 
    - next to the Berkeley Rose Garden.  Might have been a hepatic - it was 
    really bright red in color (also gray beak) so I favor summer.  Sibley 
    suggest that this is an observation of note for either tanager.
