Thanks to all that responded to my query about best photo spots for
    Yellow-billed Magpies and Yellowlegs!

Below is a compilation of the responses in case anyone else is
    interested:

    Yellow-billed Magpies:
    - Tesla Road and the lower portion of Mines road in Livermore,
    - West end of Sycamore Park in Livermore,
    - Del Valle Park, especially in the campground area and the east shore,
    - Sunol Regional Park around the horse corral and the parking lot for
    horse trailers,
    - Calaveras reservoir area (Felter and Marsh roads up behind Ed Levin
    Park in Milpitas),
    - Rest stops on 101 just north of Paso Robles,
    - Around Davis. Look for them building nests along Old Davis Road and
    South Mace Blvd.

    Yellowlegs (mostly greater):
    - Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center,
    - Emeryville near Trader Vics around low tide,
    - Berkeley at Aquatic Park off of Ashby
    - Las Positas Creek between Bluebell Avenue and Springtown Blvd, about
1 mile north of Hwy 580,
    - Pleasanton Ponds,
    - Frick Lake,
    - The entry to Don Edwards NWR on the south side of Paseo Padre/
    Thornton in Newark,
    - Yolo Basin Wildlife Area (aka - Vic Fazio Refuge) in Yolo Co,
    - Henry Miller Rd. in Los Banos (for Lesser).

Thanks again to the dozen or so that emailed me!

    Happy birding,

    Steve
