I dropped by Coyote Hills RP just before the park closed tonight.  Around 5:45, I was very surprised when a rock wren hopped out from under a bush just a couple of yards west of the very end of the Quarry parking lot. I have only previously seen them here higher up, among the rocks on the hillsides.  As I was driving out of the park at 6:00, a golden eagle was preening on an electrical tower south of the entry kiosk.
