[EBB Sightings] Harlequin Duck Richmond Marina

The male Harlequin Duck put in an appearance at about 3:30 p.m. in the Richmond Marina yesterday Jan. 9.? It was also seen by other birders.?

I first saw the duck from a large pier situated between Salute Restaurant and the boat launching ramp in the corner of the marina (if you are standing in front of Salute on the boardwalk it will be to your right, and has a large 'for sale or lease' sign on it.)?? The duck was swimming in a channel toward the pier.? It then went out toward the water in front of the ramp before circling back and then swimming in the?water in front of the restaurant before disappearing?around the boats.?
