Hi all:

At high tide today a Virginia Rail stole the show at Arrowhead.
Also seen were an Aleutian Cackling Goose, Merlin, and the continuing Burrowing Owl in the southeast corner of the shoreline.

Yesterday at Lake Merritt, the Tufted Duck was in hiding until the Lake Patrol power-boat came cruising up near the islands, and out scooted the Tufted Duck.
