GGAS Arrowhead Marsh bicycle trip-Sat Jan 10 
Great weather and a very high tide made for a great viewing day. Starting near the High Street Bridge, we enjoyed Surf Scoters along the channel, then Avocets at Garretson Pt. At Arrowhead Marsh there were probably more people than birds around 10:30, where the highlights were the Clapper Rails and the Soras. Besides the rails we enjoyed the Marsh Wren and Common Yellowthroat near the viewing platform. Several kind people let us use their scopes to view the Peregrine Falcon which was standing far out in the marsh and the Burrowing Owl at the SE corner of the seasonal wetlands. 47 species.
