[EBB Sightings] Mountain Bluebirds on Patterson Pass Road

My wife Adele and I saw several Mountain Bluebirds at 10 this morning, on Patterson Pass Road, at milepost 5.4, a short distance up the dirt road past the wind farm gate on the north side.  I and others have seen them several times between mileposts 4.9 and 5.5 the last couple of weeks.

I looked for the Cassin's KIngbird at the south end of Greenville Road this morning. but could not find it.

A first-winter white-striped White-throated Sparrow has been visiting my back yard for several weeks.  It appears at intervals with a flock of White-crowned Sparrows, but only stays a few minutes.  If anyone wants to try to see if from a warm kitchen, call me at 925-447-3720.
