The Harris's Sparrow continues at Pt. Isabel. I searched for it between 12:30 and 1:15 around the bridge just north of the parking area. Finally, it hopped out from under the dumpster just south of the bush with red berries (Cotoneaster), on the east side of the trail. The bird is very distinctive: large and upright, white underneath, a spotted crown with a brown patterned head, and a pink bill. It foraged on the ground with White-crowned and Golden-crowned Sparrows, and 2 Cal Towhees. After 15 min, it flew into the Coyotebrush along the canal.
