Yesterday morning Barbara and I saw a lone female Mountain Bluebird at
the same location, possibly the same bird reported by Stephanie. Here
are a couple of digiscopes of the bird, appearing a bit rosier than in
real life probably due to the early morning light.

    Good birding

I didn't have my scope, and my handheld pics are mostly a blur. I'm including a few below, anyway. The bird stayed for about five minutes, flying from fence to wires to ground, catching insects. It grew camera-shy and flew off, vocalizing, towards the windmills on the hills to the south.
