[EBB Sightings] Lapland Longspur - Hayward Shoreline

?? At 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon there was a first winter Lapland Longspur along the paved trail leading to the bay from the end of W. Winton Ave.? Currently, there is a straw erosion control?bale running?along the side of?the trail.? The Longspur, in the company of a Savannah Sparrow, kept returning to feed on the top of the erosion bale.? This makes him easy to find and view.? Peter
