In my earlier posted (included below), I should have said that Oak
Street crosses the railroad tracks but merges with the Embarcadero and
does not continue. Also, there is public parking at the far end of the
Portobello lot near the D'Anna office and the now shuttered Zazoo's
    restaurant.

In past winters, a Palm Warbler has been sighted near Estuary Park in
Oakland. Today, I found a Palm Warbler in the same general area. In
particular, it was in the pine trees and then the rip-rap at the
corner of the D'Anna Yacht Sales Office, which is at the far end of
the Portobello Apartments parking lot off the Embarcadero. The nearest
cross street would be Oak, except that Oak does not cross the railroad
tracks. There is parking behind the Jetro food warehouse a block or
so south along the Embarcadero and across the tracks from the Amtrack
station on Alice. A male Kingfisher was also in the area.
