The STSA continues as of about 12:30 today. I refound the bird after almost everyone had left in the NW corner roughly in the same area as the SURFBIRDs.

I'll post photos if any are good.

    Hi birders,

I arrived at Frank's Dump at around 11:45 today, with no other birders or
the target bird in sight. Other birders eventually trickled in, along with a
report that the bird had been seen earlier right in the northwest corner of
FD, close to the trail. After an hour or so of milling around and scoping the
pond, I finally spotted the bird mixed in with a group of Willets and Marbled
Godwits. We all got good looks at it before it hunkered down for a siesta.
It was in the northwest "quadrant" of the pond but quite distant from the
    trail.

After missing the bird by about half an hour on Monday, and by about one
minute yesterday (when it was apparently flushed by someone approaching too
closely), I was quite happy that the third time was a charm.

    Good birding,
    Kathy Robertson
