    Today around 12:00noon the Brandriff's and I found a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper
at Frank's dump. I ran into the Brandriff's at Hayward Landing also heading
towards Frank's Dump to search for the reported Pectoral Sandpiper. We found
the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper standing alone on a small island about 3/4 the
way towards Ora Loma Marsh. The bird then flew right at us and landed on the
shoreline near the walking trail. We had excellent close-up views as the
bird feed along the shoreline. A fast moving bicycle spooked the bird which
flew north out of Frank's Dump over the bay side shoreline.
I took some digi-scope pic's that are passable showing the field marks.

PS: We did not locate the Pectoral Sandpiper
