    I had a Peregrine flyover in the Old Blackhawk section of Danville (along a foot path northwest of the corner of Crow Canyon and Camino Tassajara on Tuesday.

    On Tues morning 10-21, there was a Peale's subtype peregrine between
    Hoffman and Meeker's Slough.  Peale's are larger and darker than the
    peregrines usually seen in the area (Anatum).   They have been known
    to winter in the area.
    
    It was on a power line in the concrete capped area of the fenced-off
    chemical waste area to the south west of the UCB Richmond Field
    Station, then flew to a tree.
    
    I managed to get a couple of photos from across the marsh.
