Our little backyard was graced this morning (9/28) by one FOS White-crowned Sparrow. (at last!) A small flock (8-12) of Western Bluebirds have been visiting our neighborhood Locust trees this week. They enjoy the funny little red berry-like thingies that appear on the Locust every fall.  Last but not least, a Northern Flicker loudly announced its return this afternoon. We have noticed that Northern Flickers also enjoy gobbling the Locust tree berry-thingies.
