After looking at a map of the park,?I realized that the SOLITARY SANDPIPER was?along the north shore of the pond, not the south.

    Sorry about that,

The SOLITARY SANDPIPER was present at Cull Canyon today (Sept 21) at 11:30AM. As previously reported, it was foraging?along the south shore?of the pond?at?the corner of Heyer and Cull Canyon roads.

No chance for the Black-and-White Warbler today. I arrived at Tassajara Creek Park at 10:45 to find a?large festival underway.

I was at Cull Canyon Lake at 7:15AM and did not find the Solitary Sandpiper.
If anyone see's it this weekend I'd sure like to hear from you.

I saw several Common Terns in Alameda today, at the harbor at Ballena Bay.
The birds where on the breakwater as previously reported. Along the rocky
shoreline I noticed 4 Black Oystercatchers.
    Good birding.
