Today at 12:30pm I found a Black-and-white Warbler foraging in the limbs of an Oak tree directly above the bridge at Tassajara Creek Park. I had a brief glimpse before Scrub Jays scared the bird upstream of the bridge. I hung around for 15 minutes without refinding the bird. As I walked back to the parking area I refound the bird in the riparian trees about 35 yards before reaching the parking area. The bird was foraging like a nuthatch and occasionally chasing insects. Thee bird was in this location when I left the park at 1:00PM.
