    Seen today -

Lesser Yellowlegs - 2 on the east side of Ora Loma Marsh.

Common Tern - 1 in Frank's Dump West.

Willow Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave.

Dusky Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave. This is only the sixth I have seen at the shoreline.

    Pacific-slope Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave.

    Bewick's Wren - 1 at Winton Ave.

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 1. This is only the sixth I have seen at the shoreline. The first 23 years I have been going here only produced 3 records, but I have 3 records in the last 3 years.

Hutton's Vireo - 1 at Winton Ave. This is only the fourth I have seen here in fall.

Warblers - only the usual ones were seen. Orange-crowned Warbler - 3, Yellow Warbler - 3, Common Yellowthroat - 1.

Frank's Dump West - today there were both an AM and PM high tide during daylight hours. However the AM one which was much lower did not cover enough mudflats at the mouth of San Lorenzo Creek to move most of the shorebirds along with the gulls and Terns into Frank's Dump West.

Winton Ave. - I was there four different times during the day. Early Morning for 20 or 30 min., mid-morning to noon for several hours, early afternoon from about 1:30 - 2:30, and finally from about 4:00 - 5:00.

    Good Birding
