    Hi birders,

Today at around 2 pm, I saw a Yellow-breasted Chat in the butterfly garden
at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont. Unfortunately, the garden is only
open Wed-Sun, 10-4:00, so it won't be accessible for the next two days. I had
gone looking for the Costa's Hummingbird reported by Bruce Mast yesterday,
but I was not able to find that bird. A couple of other migrants in addition
to those reported by Bruce were a Nashville Warbler and a Cassin's Vireo.

I was not able to relocate the Chat after my initial sighting. I left
around 3:30, and crossed paths with Bob Power, who was headed in to look for the
bird. Guess we'll hear later if he was successful.

    Good birding,
    Kathy Robertson
