[EBB Sightings] Black-throated gray warbler at Lake Elizabeth, Fremont

At 2:45 this afternoon, a black-throated gray warbler, loosely associating with a small flock of chestnut-backed chickadees, was working through the trees between tree swallow boxes 9 and 18 on the southeast side of the lake.  A juvenile male wood duck was hanging around the dock off the southeast side of Bird Island. A hairy woodpecker (huge bill, no spots on white underside) was climbing the trunk of a tree right next to the path just beyond tree swallow box 13 where the trail curves. A male common yellowthroat and a yellow warbler were streamside in the berry patch near the north end of the parking lot; two more yellow warblers were in the trees closer to the railroad tracks on the northeast side of the lake. A single female northern shoveler was in the small pond north northeast of the lake. All birds were seen in the short section of the lakeside path from the parking lot next to the new waterslides to the pond on the northeast side of the lake.
