    Hi all,

I was there with Sarah Hawley looking for the same a little later in
the morning, and we found it right by the Old Canyon Rd. bridge. We
never would have seen it if we hadn't spooked it while looking at
something else. Here's a geotagged pic if you want to check out
    exactly where it was:

    the lower right)

We had a pretty good day besides, including Wood Ducks, Common
Mergansers, Greater Yellowlegs, a Nuttall's Woodpecker or two, and
plenty more. It was my first time birding that area, and now I'll
definitely go back. You don't even have to drive there! BART and
    bikes worked really well.
