[EBB Sightings] Killer Shrub Jays

What goes around comes around. I watched a jay nest
raided, and then raided again by ravens, while the
parents made mournful and helpless calls; first time
that I'd ever felt sorry for a jay!

Perhaps it was guilt that you were feeling, for
inadvertantly providing the jays with "sitting duck"
snacks? Corvids are opportunists, just like we humans.
Probably that's why their actions tend to bother us so
much. 

Hard to watch when it's in your 
backyard, tho. We're used to our natural history gore
at once remove. Nature Channel anyone?
