    Today (June 08) at 4:20 pm we found a CHILEAN FLAMINGO (bright pink ankle joint and bright pink toes contrasting with dull grey legs) at Coyote Hills Regional Park.
    It was feeding in the pond that was next to the only tower on the south side of the paved hiker/biker section of Alameda Creek Trail.
     
    We fortunately had a camera and shot a few photos, but unfortunately we only had a small point and shoot.

    Could this be the same bird that has been seen at the same spot in previous years?
