[EBB Sightings] Blue-winged Teal in Heather Farm Park

This morning about 9 AM the phone rang and it was Fred Safier calling to 
tell me there was a pair of  Blue-winged Teals in Walnut Creek's Heather 
Farm Park.

I was just ready to leave for the park so I was particular to look for them 
upon my arrival.  They were not immediately noticeable, but eventually I 
found them and watched for several minutes.  They looked somewhat lost.

Upon returning through the park after a short visit to Cardiac Rehab, I 
could not re-find the Teals.

I did see that the Pied-billed Grebe had a stripe-headed baby on its back. 
That is exciting, too.
