Seen this afternoon at the shoreline -

American White Pelican - 21. 4 of the 7 May records I have for the shoreline are from this year.

Shorebirds in the main channel into Cogswell Marsh included
   Red Knot - 1 in winter plumage.
   Dunlin - 1 mostly in winter plumage but it had a small bit of black on the belly.

Dusky Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave. The only other spring record I have for the shoreline was 6-10-95.

Pacific-slope Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave. This is the latest spring record I have for the shoreline.

Yellow Warbler - 2 at Winton Ave. This is the third latest spring record I have for the shoreline.

Western Tanager - 1 at Winton Ave. This is also the third latest spring record I have for the shoreline. The later spring records were both in 2007.

Dark-eyed Junco - 1 at Winton Ave. This is the latest spring record I have for the shoreline. The latest one before today was 5-1-96.
