I have finally learned how to send things in plain text.

The Albany Adult School Birding Basics class saw many shorebirds well on their way to breeding plumage, a pair of blue-winged teal near Garrison Point, at least two pairs each of cinnamon teal and green-winged teal in the seasonal pond across from the entrance to the small parking lot at the end of Edgewater. A horned grebe in full breeding plumage was stunning on the bay. With 108 species on my cumulative MLK Regional list, I didn't expecting anything new, but a Lincoln's sparrow was seen by the last two members of the class to hang out at the same seasonal pond.

    Good birding!
