    Hi birders:

Barbara and I walked a couple miles up Strawberry Canyon in Berkeley
from the Centennial Rd. trailhead this morning. Lots of singing birds
after the rain. We saw about 40 species. Highlights for us included
great looks at a singing Olive-sided Flycatcher with white tufts on
side of rump clearly visible (new for the cumulative Alameda County
list I think), calling and singing Western Tanager, MacGillivray's
Warbler, singing Winter Wren, and Pygmy Nuthatches feeding young in
    multiple locations.

    Good Birding.
