[EBB Sightings] Clay-colored Sparrow - Update 10

At 6:09 this evening this bird showed up at its favorite back yard feeder.
The white-crowns had been foraging below the feeder and on the lawn for
about 15 minutes before it showed up.  I watched it eat for about 3 minutes
after which it perched on the surrounding squirrel cage, preened for several
seconds, then vanished among a flash of white-crowns into the adjacent
shrubs.  Four pictures taken late last Sunday afternoon were posted at

coloration and contrast more accurately than the previous group, and in
greater detail as there was noting but air between the bird and lens.
