Saw a burrowing owl at around 11:00AM today at the northeast end of  
the Irvington High track, next to the soccer fields. The owl was  
hanging out near the chain link fence, stayed for about five minutes  
while we watched it, then flew off into the soccer field. There are  
plenty of ground squirrel burrows in this area, perhaps the owl is  
looking for a new home.
