[EBB Sightings] Rufous-crowned Sparrow

Today, between 11:45 and 12 noon, we had wonderfully close views of a  
Rufous-crowned Sparrow at Benicia State Recreation Area.  We drove to  
the end of Dillon Point Road and parked in the large parking lot  
there.  We took the concrete steps down to the trail along the water  
and proceeded south toward Dillon Point.  The bird was observed  
singing from brush on the water-side of the trail just before  
reaching a huge boulder that is located in the middle of the trail.   
It was a great way to spend some time before attending an obligatory  
meeting in Benicia.
