No Brant today, Easter Sunday, 10:30-11am.

I did see Kathy's Red-breasted Merganser, a Common Loon close to the
Emeryville rock wall/wooden boat docks, alternate plumaged Horned Grebes, 1
female Common Goldeneye, 20 American Wigeons (close to shore), and on shore
near the frontage road 1 Surfbird.

By the way the messages on this topic were entertaining:

3/19- Tony Brake reports a female Black Scoter at Emeryville fishing pier
3/21- Kathy Robertson goes to find the Black Scoter and instead sees 3 Brant
3/22- Bob Brandriff goes to find the Brant and Black Scoter and instead sees
    a Long-tailed Duck (12 noon)
3/22- Bob Powers goes to see the Long-tailed Duck and finds the 3 Brant
    (3:15pm)
3/23 I go to see the Brant and find none of these great birds. Happy Easter!

    Good birding,
    Kris Olson

    Hi all:

Missed the Long-tailed Duck this afternoon, but at
3:15 or so, three Brant were bobbing in the waves
halfway between the Emeryville fishing pier and the
Berkeley Fishing Pier. Thanks to Kathy Robertson for
the report on these birds. Aesthetically non-pleasing
