[EBB Sightings] Re: Berkeley meadow sightings

Today at a very wet Berkeley meadow: 5-6 white-tailed kites and 2  
northern harriers hunting; a flock of meadowlarks, yellow-rumped  
warblers, etc. It's odd--but wonderful in a way--to watch these birds  
of prey swooping and diving against the very industrial backdrop of  
I-80 and the factories/Berkeley hills in the background. Lots of  
jackrabbits and ground squirrels too. :-)
