Today between 10:00 A.M. and 12:30 P.M., we saw 12+ American White  
Pelicans at Contra Loma Regional Park Reservoir.  On February 11,  
there were 70+ American White Pelicans there.  Approximately, twenty  
were circling overhead and another 50+ were on the water.  Although  
we have observed American White Pelicans at the reservoir in the  
past, the very high number of birds was extraordinary.  Sorry for the  
late posting regarding the February 11 sightings.
