[EBB Sightings] hooded mergansers in Martinez

New to Martinez and, due to recent shoulder surgery, being unable to handle driving, biking or holding up binoculars, I am on a walking tour, sort of...

The pair of mergansers were in Alhambra Creek where Alhambra Way crosses it right after leaving Alhambra Ave. It's a shady spot which will soon be invisible from the road as the trees are already beginning to leaf out.

Also seen along Alhambra Creek, between the Highway 4 overpass and the railroad overpass:
American robins 10+
YR warblers 10+
cedar waxwings 2 drinking from the creek
black phoebe
CB chickadee
w. scrub jay
Anna's hummers (2 males)
