Taking a slight detour on the way to work, Barbara and I went to
Livermore and saw the two Cassin's Kingbirds at 7:45 this morning in
the same location. They were on the power lines 0.4 miles along the
dirt road across from sign "8012"; they flew well up the hillside on
the east side of the road several times. This is about 75 yards
before the pond. At least one of them was calling quite a bit.

Having time for one more stop, thanks to suggestions from Bob Power
and Art Edwards, we saw a nice pair of Wood Ducks at Veterans Park
which is across from the Wente Winery on Arroyo Road, south of Wetmore
Road . The ducks were in the part of the stream directly behind the
    parking lot ($3.00 fee).

    Good birding,
