Today in the cattle pasture off HY580 in Dublin there was a Merlin.
There were also three American Kestrel's, a White-tailed Kite with a mouse
    and four Red-tailed Hawks.
The Merlin made a single pass into a grounded flock of 20 + Killdeer and
    Western Sandpiper.
I don't think the Merlin was really interested in attacking the flock,
    because he simply flew away.
The Merlin flew south towards the El Charo Rd fish ladders on Los Positas
    creek area, Pleasanton.
Also present were: Says Phoebe, Savanna Sparrow, American Pipit and at the
far eastern end of the field 30 Western Meadowlarks.
Direction: Hy 580 east to El Charo road exit go north over highway to
Fallon and Croak Rd. or south to the Los Positas creek fish ladders.
