I'm not sure if this sighting is valid for this list, but a well-respected
member of the list, who is also involved in the County Big Year count,
encouraged me to go ahead. So I do so rather tongue-in-cheek. Last Thursday,
I saw two Cherry-headed Conures in a tree near Codornices Creek on the
Berkeley/Albany border between Cornell Ave and Stannage St. Soon after a
flock of four flew overhead, squawking like crazy. For those who may not
have seen it, these are the birds featured in the film: The Wild Parrots of
    Telegraph Hill.

In an effort to legitimize this posting, about a week earlier, I saw a flock
of about twenty Cedar Waxwings in the same location.
