[EBB Sightings] Lake Merritt local interest (no Longtail Duck)

I decided I needed to walk for exercise this morning through Lakeside Park
at Lake Merritt. I said hello to the REDHEAD but didn't notice the Tufted
Duck. I got to add RING-NECKED DUCK and RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER to my year
list. They had been regular in the park in November and December. The
Sapsucker was working a bare oak just to the east of the marble fountain
near the lawn bowling club.

I also had the pleasure of running into Al DiMartini, who was searching
diligently for the Long-tailed Duck when I arrived. He hadn't found it and
we didn't find it in the short time we were together.
