I saw my first Allen's Hummer of the year this morning, in the 'Meadow'
    portion of the Berkeley Marina.

I saw at least 3 Burrowing Owls along the loop; A man I chatted with,
who talks that walk almost daily, swears there are 5. These birds are
unbelievably tame. In one case eight people were looking at a bird, 15
or so feet away, and all it did was blink at them.

There were several Lincoln's Sparrows, making their 'chuck' and
'tzseeet' sounds in the tall grass. Savannah and Song Sparrows also
called, so it's a good place to sort out those sounds, if you're
looking for a Sparrow sounds learning lab.
