I needed to take a walk, and headed here yesterday afternoon (along with
everybody else) since I haven't been for quite a while. Gadwalls were
near the marina, along with a close Great Blue Heron. Canada Geese,
    Mallards and American Coots.
    Bewick's Wren, Golden-crowned Sparrows, a Song Sparrow, Stellar's Jay
and California Towhees were close to the walkway that goes to the paved
trail on the east side. Along the trail were Bushtits and Ruby-crowned
    Kinglets.

Near the marshy area was a Mute Swan. I cut through the woody area
instead of taking the bridge near the Low Water Landing. Here I saw
Brown Creeper, Hutton's Vireo, more Kinglets and Wrens, and
Chestnut-backed Chickadees. Just past the turn where the golf course is,
there were puddles in the trail at which a few American Robins and a
female Purple Finch were trying to drink. I tried to get some photos of
that, but every time I got focused, someone would be coming up the
trail, and everyone would fly off. After a few minutes they'd come back.
So much trouble just to get a drink of water! There were also Fox
Sparrows and Spotted Towhee in the undergrowth there.
