Has anyone followed up on this report of Plumbeous Vireo Alameda County
12-17-2007? Positive or negative reports? It seems that wintering birds
found in December stay around for some time.

    >Hi All,
    >I just returned from three weeks birding in Chile and still
    >have visions of diving petrels, penquins, tapaculos,
    >plantcutters, Andean Condors, canasteros, miners,
    >earthcreepers, a pair of wonderful Magellanic Plovers and
    >Diademed Sandpiper-Plovers with young dancing around in my
    >head. Some how I got myself out birding today in Alameda Co
    >and saw a Plumbeous Vireo in the south edge of the county in
    >Fremont. I saw the bird at about 2:30 this afternoon. To get
    >to the spot go south on 880 and take the S Fremont Blvd exit
    >(also says Cushing Parkway). Continue on Fremont Blvd to the
    >stop light at W Warren Ave and turn left. Continue to the
    >stop sign which is Bayside Parkway and turn right. On your
    >left will be the ISE labs. Turn left at the third driveway on
    >your left (there is a white sign with blue lettering that says
    >shipping and receiving) after leaving W Warren Ave.
    >This driveway parallels a small canal. Drive to the end of
    >the driveway (where the canal makes a right turn) and you will
    >be at some pine trees.
    >The Plumbeous Vireo was in the pine trees. There were also a
    >couple of Chestnut-backed Chickadees, a Townsend's Warbler and
    >RC Kinglets so perhaps the vireo is in a loose flock of birds.
