We saw a White Winged Socter today at Berkeley's Aquatic park. It was 
hanging around with two or three surf scoters and a bunch of scaup, near 
the pier.

We also saw our first of the season Goldeneys: two females, hanging 
around with some buffleheads, and our first of the season red breasted 
merganser. 27 species in all, but the rest were the usual suspects.
