[EBB Sightings] Pleasanton Fresh Water Retention Pond - SNOW GOOSE

At 12:30 today I made a quick stop at the Fresh Water
Retention Pond on Laguna Creek Lane in Pleasanton.
(This is the pond that's visible from 680, just south
of Bernal Avenue.)

Among the >400 CANADA GEESE in the surrounding field
were 5 CACKLING GEESE (Aleutian) and a single SNOW
GOOSE. 

Other species on the pond in small numbers:
BUFFLEHEAD, LESSER SCAUP, GADWALL, RUDDY DUCK,
MALLARD, AMERICAN COOT, RING-BILLED GULL.
