Yesterday evening, 6 pm, there was a hatch year Cooper's Hawk sitting
on one of the low fence posts in the parking lot at the Albany Bulb
    (Eastshore Park).

It was no more than a foot from passing cars. It seemed ok, other
than the fact that it was too young to have learned that cars and dogs
    are dangerous.

It moved from the post to the bushes where dozens of birds had
successfully hidden in the deeper regions of the bushes. Hopefully
this HY bird will learn quickly that sitting 2 feet off the ground and
a foot from people, bikes, cars and dogs is not safe.
