[EBB Sightings] Contra Costa Sabine's Gull

Hi East Bay Birders,

Yesterday, Lisa Hug and I did a PRBO Big Contra Costa
Day.  The Highlight was a juvenile SABINE'S GULL that
Lisa spotted with Forster's Terns at the south end of
Clifton Court Forebay in East Contra Costa.  Also on
the bay were a male REDHEAD and a distant OSPREY.  

We saw or heard 136 species.  Other highlights
included a HERMIT WARBLER near the parking lot of
Tilden's Nature area, CACKLING GOOSE and WOOD DUCK at
Ironhouse Sanitary ponds in Oakley, and two flocks of 
about 30 SANDHILL CRANES, that flew over our car out
on Holland Track in East Contra Costa.
