Over the weekend I noticed two House Finches with visible pox lesions in
my yard in Livermore.  One had a medium-sized tumor on its foot, which it
was trying not to stand on, while the other had a large one on its
forehead, which made it look rather like a melon-headed whale. I haven't
seen any poxy birds for a while, so two at the same time caught my
attention.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in apparent avian pox?
