[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline - Winton Ave

I, too, went by Mt. Trashmore (the old landfill)
around 11 a.m. today. I had -

Lapland Longspur (1)
Chesnut-collared Longspur (1) - had 2 great looks at
the tail pattern as it flew
Peregrine Falcon (1) - a juvenile that glided past me
at eye level just 20' in front of me! No bins needed.
Red-shouldered Hawk (1) - large adult sitting on the
telephone pole south of the entrance to the current
landfill as I left
