I was at the Grant Avenue entrance of Hayward Shoreline today from
1030 to 1220. There were large numbers of White-crowned sparrows, 2
Linclon's sparrows, and 1 Chipping sparrow(still with a bit or rust
on the head) in the first part of the paved trail just north of the
Staging area. There were also several Yellow warblers and
    Orange-crowned warblers.

At the first pond on the north side of the creek were 30 Greater
    Yellowlegs, 5 Lesser Yellowlegs, and 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper(seen
    at noon.)

At the first pond just south of the creek on the bay side were 3 Red
Knots, 3 Baird's Sandpipers and many Willets, Dowitchers and Marbled
    Godwits.

Almost a Bob Richmond kind of day.

    Good Birding,

    Maury Stern
