[EBB Sightings] golden-crowns

Dear Birders:

I would like to say that persistence was rewarded, but after going out
each morning for the last week shortly after sunup including this
morning, late this afternoon glancing out to my deck feeder -- you
guessed it -- a single male Golden-crowned Sparrow sharing seed with
the local juncoes.  Now whether this one is just passing through, and
it will be a few days before the local group arrives, who knows.  But
even one, even if it did sneak up on me, was a welcome sight.
